Convert XLS to XLSX online
Use Easy-Converters.com to convert Excel 97–2003 files into Excel Workbook on this server. The converter uses local open-source tools, keeps files in private storage, and removes the source after processing.
How this conversion works
The conversion runs from a private working directory. When it finishes, the application verifies the output file and offers a temporary download token. Source files are removed after processing, and the result expires after 1 hour(s).
Limits and expectations
The maximum upload is 25 MB per file. Uploads are rate limited and only one file is accepted per request. The result depends on the source layout, fonts, formulas, and the installed conversion engine.
